Specialised Technical & Operational Capabilities

Hydro Logic brings specialised technical and operational capabilities that enable us to deliver complex, large-scale drainage rehabilitation projects safely and efficiently.

What We Do

Core Competencies

Hydro Logic brings specialised technical and operational capabilities that enable us to deliver complex, large-scale drainage rehabilitation projects safely and efficiently. Our key competencies include:

Trenchless pipe rehabilitation — inside relined pipe showing blue protective lining 01

Trenchless Rehabilitation

Specialist no-dig repair and renewal of critical pipelines and drainage assets operating in live, restricted, or high-risk environments.

Trenchless rehabilitation allows damaged or deteriorated pipelines and drainage assets to be repaired from the inside, without excavation or removal of the existing pipe. A new structural liner is installed within the host pipe, restoring strength, flow capacity, and service life while keeping disruption to an absolute minimum.

This method is particularly suited to live, operational, or high-risk sites where traditional open-cut excavation is not viable. It is widely used across commercial, industrial, and civil infrastructure where access is restricted, services cannot be shut down, or where surface disruption would be costly or unacceptable.

Hydro Logic delivers trenchless rehabilitation across small and large bore pipelines, using pull-in-place patch repairs, inversion lining systems, and large diameter UV-cured relining. Systems are selected based on asset condition, operating environment, and long-term performance requirements, with relined pipelines designed for a 50-year service life and supported by 10-year installation warranties.

Common applications include sewer and stormwater networks, industrial process pipelines, drainage assets on live construction sites, and pipelines in confined or hazardous environments where previous repair methods have failed.

Industrial protective coating systems — coated concrete tank with protective grey lining 02

Industrial Protective Coating Systems

Engineered coating and lining solutions to protect, rehabilitate, and extend the service life of concrete and steel infrastructure exposed to corrosive and aggressive conditions.

Industrial protective coating systems are applied to existing concrete and steel assets to restore structural integrity, provide chemical resistance, and protect against corrosion, abrasion, and environmental degradation. Rather than replacing a failing asset, a new protective lining is formed over the existing surface, extending operational life at a fraction of the cost of reconstruction.

Many infrastructure assets fail not from structural collapse but from sustained chemical attack, corrosion, and environmental exposure. Left untreated, deterioration accelerates to the point where assets fail suddenly, forcing emergency shutdowns, costly replacement works, and significant operational disruption.

Hydro Logic is the exclusive certified installer of OBIC coating systems on the East Coast of Australia. The OBIC Armor system is an engineered three-layer polyurea platform comprising a bonding base coat, a structural foam infill layer, and a sealed outer coat. It cures within seconds, forms a seamless waterproof barrier, and carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty covering both materials and installation. No equivalent manufacturer-warranted system exists through any other contractor in Australia.

Assets protected include manholes and access chambers, treatment and process tanks, primary and secondary containment areas, bunds, grease traps, stormwater retention and detention tanks, large pipework and culverts, and roof and exposed waterproofing areas.

Inspection, Assessment & Engineered Repair Solutions

Advanced inspection, condition assessment, and repair strategy development to support informed decision-making and long-term asset performance.

Accurate condition assessment is the foundation of any effective rehabilitation strategy. Without a clear understanding of asset condition, deterioration mechanisms, and failure risk, repair decisions are based on guesswork, leading to over-specified solutions, missed defects, or interventions that address symptoms rather than causes.

Hydro Logic uses advanced CCTV inspection technology for small and large bore pipelines, producing detailed condition assessments and defect reports that enable informed, evidence-based decision-making. Inspection data is used to evaluate asset performance, prioritise repair works, and specify the most appropriate rehabilitation method for each asset.

Beyond inspection, Hydro Logic delivers a full suite of engineered repair solutions including crack injection and substrate repairs, robotic cutting and debris removal, high-pressure water jetting, and mechanical repair of existing assets and structures. This integrated capability means Hydro Logic can manage complete project delivery from initial assessment through to final handover, without the need for multiple contractors.
